Aspirus Hospital’s backup helicopter, a Bell 407, was based here for 2 weeks while their regular helicopter was down for maintenance.

Theda Clark’s backup helicopter, an EC135 stopped in Wausau for fuel after dropping off a patient at Aspirus.  The backup is painted in PHI’s “bumble bee” scheme.

ABC News anchor John Stossel flew into Wausau for a speaking engagement in town in this Citation Sovereign.
